What is Vendor Insurance?

​Vendors insurance was created for people who sell, display, demonstrate, or promote their products/services on a short-term basis. These exhibitions can be special events, malls, trade shows, etc. 

Do you have a booth at the Kiwanis Trade Show? Do you sell your products at the farmer's market every Friday? If so, this insurance is for you.

Consider these 4 events:

1. Someone steals a laptop from your booth
2. Someone trips and breaks their ankle on a cable coming from your booth
3. You knock over an antique lamp at the venue and it shatters
4. A flash drive you give out puts a virus on a customer's computer

Of these 4 events, only #1 would have been covered under your traditional commercial general liability insurance policy. 

There are some vendors we can't cover. These are things like tattooing, piercing, and face painting; weight loss and nutritional supplements; weaponry; fireworks; and alcoholic beverages.
